Ami was a Meccano-like construction systems. Ami was produced in Italy from about 1930 to 1955. The maker was taken over in 1955 and the system became Ami Lac with very few changes.

Many parts like MECCANO & MÄRKLIN. AMI, the maker, was taken over in 1955 and became AMILAC. Data probably as AMILAC except not as many parts, but needs confirming.
