Bilt-E-Ze Construction Sets

Bilt-E-Ze was a Meccano-like construction system similar to Vogue. It is thought to have been made in the UK in the late 1940s.

There are two distinct, but very similar systems:-
Bilt-E-Ze(1) - Parts very similar to Vogue and was made in around 1947
Bilt-E-Ze(2) - Parts very similar to above, but with slightly larger holes.

Lid has 3 models, 2 Cranes & a Lifting Bridge. Details from #4 set with 11x5h Plate with only edge holes. Most parts similar VOGUE including Strips with 45° corners. *¹3/32W also known: SR plain steel 6.3 4.8. *²Also ¼" diameter, with Wheels & Flat Trunnion to suit.

Lid has 3 models: Plane, Trike & Motorboat. Parts similar to BILT-E-ZE [1] but larger holes. Also normal instead of ¼" Axles & the 5x11h Flat Plate in BILT-E-ZE [1], an 11x5h Flanged Plate with no centre 5 holes & BILT-E-ZE stamped there.
