Brickplayer Construction Sets

Brickplayer was made by Spears from 1938 till the mid 1960s. Pre-war the sets were to 1 in 27 scale. Post-war they were to 1 in 48 scale. In 1959 they introduced the more modern Contemporary Brickplayer. They were used to make model buildings. These were made using miniature bricks which were cemented together using a water based mortar. The models could then be immersed in water to dismantle them.
