Buildo(1) Construction Sets
Buildo[1] was a Meccano-like construction system, made in the USA by The Buildo Company, Minneapolis in the late 1940s.
It can be divided into two eras -
Buildo[1b] - With mainly steel parts in around 1945/6.
Buildo[1a] - With mainly alloy parts in around 1946/7.

Steel parts, including 6 holes long Flanged Sector Plate, 5 holes diameter Flanged Disc, Eccentric, T-Brackets, Half Pulleys with special Hubs to fit in 6.35mm holes. Other details above may apply, *1 for example.

As BDO1b but aluminium parts. Also motor parts.*1Different maker post '47. *2 ¼"x20 single tapped threaded Hubs join Wheel/Pulley halves. *3 3.2, 3.6 also reported. *4 steel head on long Bolts. *5 Also: steel Nuts; dull plated steel mushroom head(s) Bolts, Bolt Head Diameter 5.5.
