Buildo(1) Construction Sets
Buildo(1) was a Meccano-like construction system. It was made in the late 1940s in the USA. It can be split into two sub-periods. Buildo(1b) in 1945/6 using steel parts and Buildo(1a) from 1946 to after 1947 using aluminium parts.

Steel parts, including 6 holes long Flanged Sector Plate, 5 holes diameter Flanged Disc, Eccentric, T-Brackets, Half Pulleys with special Hubs to fit in 6.35mm holes. Other details above may apply, *1 for example.

As BDO1b but aluminium parts. Also motor parts.*1Different maker post '47. *2 ¼"x20 single tapped threaded Hubs join Wheel/Pulley halves. *3 3.2, 3.6 also reported. *4 steel head on long Bolts. *5 Also: steel Nuts; dull plated steel mushroom head(s) Bolts, Bolt Head Diameter 5.5.
