Cliki Construction Sets

Cliki construction kits were made by Meccano Ltd. to make model buildings and oither structures. The range was launched in competition to Lego. The system was imported as the instruction leaflets were printed in Denmark. This is the same country where Lego was made, so was Cliki made for Meccano Ltd. by Lego under contract?
