Steel Construction Kits
Deltax was a Meccano-like construction system. It was made in Japan in the 1970s to 1980s. It was also exported to Canada where it was marketed as Build-X and to the USA where it was known as Delta-X.
In 1989 'Steel Construction Kits' - a virtually identical system (with the same part numbers), was imported into Canada from Korea. Was production of this system moved to Korea from Japan in the late 1980s or was it made there under license?
In around 2005 a new version (Delta-X(b)) was produced, but with smaller parts and M3 screws. This was produced till at least 2009.

Name In Japanese characters. Lids also show a model, &, usually, set nos. 'D-40 to D-500'. Axles have flat to suit some of the bosses. Plastic Plates marked MADE IN JAPAN. *1 25.4=Mod.1. *2 Slotted Bolt head shown.
