Construction Sets

Diablock was a simple plastic construction system. It is very similar to Lego. According to the website it has been made in Japan by Kawada Co. from 1962 to the present. There website is https://www.diablock.co.jp/en/.

It was sold in the USA under the name Briz Blox by the USA company Sears, Roebuck and Co. of Chicago. They also sold a 'Giant' version similar to Duplo. Not sure of the dates but probably in (at least) the 1960s and 1970s.

It was also sold in the USA under the name Loc Bloc by the USA company Entex Industries Inc., Compton, California. Not sure of the dates but probably in (at least) the 1960s and 1970s. A copyright date of 1975 has been seen on one of the sets
