Heller's Stahlbau was a DIY construction system in which one cut out the parts from metal sheet/strip usinf=g tool called the 'Mechanicus'. It was produced in Germany from around 1938 to 1956. In France it was known as Heller-Mécanicus.
Heller also produced another similar DIY construction system called Meco, which had a much more sophisticated tool, called the 'Constructor'. Dates from 1933 to around 1936.
