Imperator is a constructional system using narrow rod-like strips and connectors. It was made in Germany from around 1913 to 1920. In the UK the system was sold under the 'Anchor Engineer' name.

Strips 5mm wide, 2-7"long, clip into Hubs 20mm Across flats. *1 Listed '19, but 'not available' in '25 catalogue. Also sold as ANKER-METALL, -INGENIEUR, INGENIEUR, ANCHOR ENGINEER.

UK name for IMPERATOR. Strips clip into Hubs. Called LITTLE ANCHOR ENGINEER & ANCHOR ENGINEERING in 1914/22 G&T ads. Axle has flat. *1 In Hub.
