Mechanic(1) was a Meccano-like construction system. It was produced in China from 1993 to (at least) the mid 2000s. The copyright date on all the manuals is 1993.
The Mechanic(1) set no.195 was also sold in the USA under the Steel Builder name by Schylling. It came with the usual Mechanic(1) instruction leaflet.
