Mechanics Laboratory (Mechanics) Construction Sets
This system whilst originally known as Mechanics Laboratory in the UK, appears now to be called just 'Mechanics' on at least some of the sets. Most of the UK sets also say Science Museum on them. It is known under different names in other countries:-

France - Atelier de Mécanique
Spain - Laboratorio de Mecánica
Portugal - Laboratório de Mecânica
Poland - Laboratorium Mechaniki
Germany - Construction Challenge
Turkey - Mekanik Laboratuvarı
Mechanics Laboratory is a sophisticated plastic construction system with gears etc. The parts are held together by pegs, which can allow rotation if required. The system can replicate differentials and gear boxes etc. All sets have either the 'Science and Play' logo (or equivalent in the other languages) on them or the Science Museum logo on both set boxes and all the single language manuals.
