Metallix(1) Construction Sets

Metallix(1) was a Meccano-like system. The flanged plates had a cutout like Stabil ones, although interestingly the manual models do not show the cutout. The manuals were in dual German and English. It was made in Germany in the 1950s.

Parts including Strips, Wheel+Pulley Discs, 9x5h Flanged Plate with 3x5 cutout Plate (often red). Red lid with boy's head beside nice Crane. May be related to DER KLEINE INGENIEUR [2]. *1Often largely aluminium. *24.2 & 4.4mm also known.
