Mex(2) Construction Sets

The Mex(2) construction system appears to be Baufix, but repackaged for the UK market. The strips etc. had alternate slots to the edge and holes. This UK system was sold in the 1930s. Many of the models in the instruction leaflet below use the same artwork as on the Baufix instruction leaflet elsewhere on this website. At the moment the UK importer/distributor is unknown, although it is likely to be the same as for Mex(1).

Saalheimer & Strauss, Nürnburg, Germany (the manufacturer of Baufix).
UK importer/distributor unknown but likely to be same as Mex(1) (W.H. Cornelius 23 Paper Street, London, EC1, UK)
