Modern-Morecraft
and
Skipper Toy

Modern-Morecraft was originally Meccano-Morecraft made by Erector. It was then sold off to the Skipper Toy Co. in 1937 who then marketed as Modern-Morecraft(a). After a year or two the manufacturer changed to Morecraft Corp (Modern-Morecraft(b)). It was made in the USA from 1937 to at least 1946.

The Morecraft Corp also sold some sets of this system under the 'Skipper Toy' name in around 1938.

Mfr: Skipper Toy Co. The lid is darkish & has 3 small boys, a dog, & a model. Parts probably identical to MECCANO-MORECRAFT. *1 Key fixing for some parts. *2 Most, not all, 12.7x. *3 Also Snap Rivets.

Mfr: Morecraft Corp. In '46 lid blue with 3 boys & Bridge. Later sets had red lids with name top left & 'MORECRAFT POWER Equipped' bottom rt. *1with hex Nut. & some single tapped. *2Most 12.7x, also 1/3" & others. *34.3 in most other parts. *4+Snap Rivets.
