Schefflers was a Meccano-like construction system. It was made in East Germany from 1955 to around 1970.

Called METALL-BAUKASTEN in 70s, & BURGSTÄDTER later. Parts identical & part no's/sets the same. *1 but all dates need confirming. *2 Mod 2, also for gear-like Sprocket. *3 MCS 12.87. *4 hex nut & round slotted bolt also reported. *5 Nut black metallic steel.
