Sprio (Turm-Drehkran) Construction Sets

Sprio (Turm-Drehkran) was a simple construction system to make a model crane. It was manufactured in Leipsig by Sprio (VEB Sprio Werke Holzhausen). Dates currently unknown. Only the one set is currently known.

There appears to be two versions of this set. One (presumably older) in a gray crackle finish paint, pictures of which are shown below and the other with coloured painted parts which can be seen here.

Comments
Maker: VEB Sprio-Werke, Holzhausen. Only one set known with dedicated parts for a Turm-Drehkran (Tower Crane), including Braced Panels. Some sets have silvery parts, some in a mix of colours.
