Yunost
(Konstruktor) Yunost (Юность - meaning 'Youth') was very similar to 1960s Meccano. Most of the models were from Meccano and the hole spacing was the standard 12.7mm. The parts numbering was virtually the same as Meccano except that there were no suffix letters. It was made in Russia in the mid 1980s although the manufacturer was unknown. Also included here are sets by Orenburg, PO Strela (Оренбурга, ПО «Стрела»). These are included here because of there similarity. They too had standard 12.7mm hole spacing. Also two of their manuals had the same models as the equivalent Yunost set 2. In fact the 1982 Orenburg No.2 manual is virtually identical to the Yunost (Юность) No.2 manual.
