Absolutely fantastic website.
I used to build Meccano models about 60 years ago when I wer'a lad. I am sure this early understanding went a long way to enabling me to become an engineer.
This website has certainly rekindled my interest.
Amazing website - keep up the good work.

Wow! what a fantatsic resource. My interest was rekindled recently when I bought an old shop display model of a bulldozer. I have cleaned it lightly and got it working, the wheels go round and the bucket goes up and down. This site is amazing for learning about the history - it has to be the world's most useful and informative Meccano resource - Massive thumbs up!!

This site is brilliant. Returning to Meccano after 50+ years I have found the engineering drawings extremely useful. I bought some bent and rusty parts and have restored them to new condition.
I have been using the drawings to make parts I do not have for a specific model. It's interesting working from a 1930s plan. Thank you Timothy for making this available.

A fantastic historical resource. Useful to the researcher in so many ways. The effort that has gone into compiling and maintaining this is much appreciated.

Just brilliant, this is what was maybe outstanding for more than a century. We really need to encourage others to visit this site. Only 8000+ hits in 8 years out of a possible few million Meccano owners. The drawings is little gems in their own right. Only started collecting 6 years ago. Mainly for constructing purposes, not into the real "collecting". Frank Hornby never meant a set to go on display but rather to develop engineering skills. I am 70+ and still enjoy it daily, and that after a 50 years career in aeronautical engineering. Never had any Meccano as a kid.
