Comments: I have now completed my survey of the MM, from September 1916 to April 1981 -- 662 magazines if my maths is correct! I have a large collection of Meccano Magazines myself, but your wonderful site has enabled me to go through those many magazines of the 1920s and 1930s I do not own, and to find and print out missing pages in my own collection. You have really done a magnificent piece of work for all Meccano and Hornby enthusiasts, and I cannot thank you enough. Basil Hutchinson (HRCA 460).

Comments: I'm on page 32, of the January 1962 edition! (A J Fleming)
The trains are all still with me although no longer assembled in a basement ! They still work too, although not in a fixed layout anymore, which says a lot for the engineering quality of meccano products.

Comments: I am so impressed by this site, what a labour of love it must have been to create it. The search facilities are probably the most well thought out and efficient that I have ever experienced. The content though is even more impressive, particularly considering the time period covered. I can see me spending a lot of time here wallowing in nostalgia! Well done to all concerned.

Comments: Your site is absolutely superb!
I have only recently got into Meccano, aged 47! I was given some manual for Xmas and became inspired, so bought a No.5 outfit on ebay and a large amount of miscellaneous parts locally and have made the chariot and an armoured car.
Over past Xmases I have been given the modern release specials: Concorde, Spitfire and Red Arrows and they were excellent too.
Do you plan to include plans?

Comments: A great resource - many thanks for putting this together. Found an article (MM, Jan. 1953, p. 43)about the model village and railway that my Dad, my brother and I put together amost 60 years ago!
