Engineero(1) Construction Sets
Engineero(1) was a Meccano-like construction system except that the strips had notches along their length between the diamond shaped holes. It was made in the USA, in around 1915.
There appear to have been two phases to this system, although at present it is unknown which phase came first.
Phase A - These all appear to come in red boxes and the parts are all as noted in the parts list in the 300 set manual below. The manual model illustrations are all shown at a reasonable size. There are a total of 50 models shown in the 300 set manual.
Phase B - These all appear to come in black boxes. There are some additional parts in (at least) the larger sets, which whilst used in the manual models are not shown in the parts list in the 200 set manual (it is identical to that used in phase A manuals). These extra parts include girder-like strips which can form a box section similar to Erector strips and a spoked pulley wheel The large flanged plate shown in the manual models has fewer holes, although the one found in the set is as per phase A. The manual models have much smaller illustrations and there are many more models shown - 200 in the 200 set manual.
